Product: Replacement Engines

Goal: Create a reusable pallet for transportation of replacement Saturn engines.

Previous Packaging Material: Specially sized wooden pallets.

Pak-Line Solution: Pak-Line Engine Pack. The pallet is fabricated from a medium density, 5/8" thick board, and is specially designed to allow the engine to nestle close to the ground, keeping the center of gravity low for more stability. The pack is reused by the dealer to return the damaged engine to Saturn. This "round trip" saves Saturn up to 40% of the cost of the former wooden pallet/cradle combinations.
